Frequently Asked Questions?

What happens in the first appointment?

In our first session, we’ll spend some time just getting to know each other. We like to hear about what’s going on for you right now, learn a bit about your background, and talk together about what you’d like to get out of our sessions. This will help us set some goals and make sure our time together is really focused on what matters most to you.

For younger children (usually 11 and under), we generally ask that the first appointment is just with the parent or caregiver. This gives us a chance to talk openly and gather important background information before we meet your child. That said, every situation is different, so if you’d prefer your child to be involved from the start, we can talk it through together.

How long are the sessions?

Session length can vary depending on whether it is an assessment or a therapy session. Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes, while Occupational Therapy sessions usually range from 30–45 minutes, depending on the child’s age and needs. Your clinician will be able to clarify this once your initial appointment has been arranged.

How much are the sessions?

Every therapist has their own fee, so contact us directly for further information.

How do I book?

You can contact us via email or in the contact page.

What happens if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can offer the space to someone else who might be waiting.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full session fee, as that time has been set aside specifically for you.
